The best action camera

In the world of action cameras, there are two big names: GoPro and Contour. In the past year, the action camera market has exploded, marked by the proliferation of cheap action cameras and, more recently, by the entry of major brands like Sony. However, in the shadow of the greats, there is a little-known action camera that has a great offer ...

The Crocolis HD Action Camera

At $ 149.99, it significantly undermines the competition in terms of price. The GoPro Hero 2 sells for $ 299 and the Contour + sells for $ 499.99. GoPro is the market leader for a reason. It offers superior image quality and a complete line of accessories. The Contour offers advanced features like Wi-Fi streaming, but it comes at a higher price. However, there is a compelling argument for the Crocolis HD action camera. It offers more features in a more complete stock package for half the price of the GoPro hero 2 and less than 1/3 the price of the Contour +. Let's take a closer look at the Crocolis HD action camera.
Build

The Crocolis HD Action Cam is IP68 compliant, meaning it is dust and waterproof. Not waterproof, waterproof. This means that you can take it surfing with you in Indonesia, sandboarding in the deserts of Peru, and withstand the harsh conditions of a dirt bike in Australia. Locking mechanism, gasket and lens feel very sturdy and inspire confidence. The slim, forward-facing rectangular profile means this is much more streamlined and less awkward than the GoPro series flat box shape.

Control S

The necessary action controls while mobile devices are easily accessible from the top. Playback controls and settings line up on the bottom of the action cameras below the 1.5 ″ LCD screen. This is a great advantage over GoPro Hero 2 and Contour + which don't come with a display screen.

Ports and Entrances

Open the top locking mechanism and the screen folds to reveal all ports and inputs. This includes the battery, SDHC slot, microphone input, mini-HDMI port, mini-USB port, TV-out, and charge indicator.
