Online Business Systems - How They Work for You

So you have decided to take the route of online business system. It might be something you've been thinking about for a while, or maybe just an impulsive decision that came to you at the moment.

While there are literally thousands and thousands of online business opportunities online, finding the right ones for you can be quite difficult.

If you are a beginner in the industry, you need all the help you can get, and unfortunately, there are quite a few online business systems that just take you well-earned money and let you create yourself.

I have undertaken to give you a few important things to consider when taking the online world, not in any particular order, but just as important if you want to do it online:

1. Don't Promote Waste - If you want to advertise something to a business, it is imperative that the value of the product is of good quality. Find a review of the business and see what they are about.

2. Full training and support - make sure the company can provide you with full support such as video training, email contact, webinars and downloadable training material. They will not succeed unless you are successful.

3. Multiple income streams - make sure the business offers more than one way for you to generate income, i.e. different products that you can make money from. The more you can sell with a website, the business promotion page.

4. Free site - A free site can be a great bonus if you are new to online business games. Just make sure, as in point 1, that you are promoting a good quality product. Do your research well.

If you follow these four points, you may be well on your way to finding a good, legitimate online business that can generate revenue for you in the years to come.

Just remember that nothing just comes of itself, you will have to work for it, but once you get the hang of it, there really is nothing to it.

I've known lots of people who failed the first time with online business ideas, but the only ones that succeeded are the ones who never gave up. I cannot stress this enough. It's the same as any other business, if you don't quit, you can't fail.

Crafts in Business System Analysis

Recently, I wrote a paper on the general state of craft that was more geared towards public consumption as opposed to any specific industry. To my mind, craft is a universal concept that touches on all industries, whether related to products or services. This resulted in a mishap of emails to me questioning how it relates to specific types of work, including Business Systems Analysis (BSA), which is of course applicable, but I question whether we have really realized the craftsmanship of this area.

From the outset, let me say unequivocally that BSA is not a new concept and has been with us for a long time, in fact, ahead of the modern computer age of the 20th century. Prior to this, companies had formal “Systems & Procedures” divisions with analysts focused on streamlining business processes and primarily using paper and manual procedures. When tabulation and other office equipment emerged, they were responsible for their integration into the business. But when computers were introduced, a new feature was devised that greatly influenced the future of analysts, namely programmers. Slowly but surely, analysts were replaced by programmers. By the end of Structured Programming / CASE mania of the 1980s and 90s, BSA was phased out almost to the point of extinction. In other words, companies were more preoccupied with programming as opposed to struggling with the entire business. Consequently, systems were attacked piecemeal, usually one program at a time, resulting in fragmented and incoherent systems, erroneous information, and redundancy in terms of data resources and work performance. Slowly, companies began to realize that a higher-level person needed to understand the business and be able to construct integrated systems to operate it. Therefore, the rebirth of Business Systems Analyst as we understand it today.

Several of today's BSAs came through the programming ranks and are actually programmers in sheep's clothing and tend to only see things from a math standpoint. However, there are many others whose roots can be traced to today's business schools. I consider a true Business Systems Analyst as the middleman between the end users and the programming staff. This means that they have the ability to understand both business and technical concepts and communicate them effectively with both end users and programmers. In other words, one of the key roles played by the analyst is business promotion page.

ACTION MAN'S ROLES

In my article I defined crafts as ...

"The Practice and Pursuit of Expertise in Building / Delivering Superior Work Products by Workers."

By this definition, craftsmanship and quality are not synonymous. While quality is primarily about zero defects, craftsmanship involves a human trait in "pursuit of excellent character." To better describe the concept, I came up with the following formula:

"Craft = (knowledge + experience + attitude) X success"

This specifies the variables associated with craftsmanship. Before discussing "knowledge", let's first consider the others. "Experience" means that the worker has been able to apply the knowledge he / she has learned, not only once, but repeatedly. "Attitude" addresses the person's sense of professionalism and dedication to his / her craft, that they possess an intellectual curiosity and continuously strive for improvement. And "success" means that the worker has demonstrated that he / she can make products satisfied with both the client and the company he / she works for, not just once, but routinely. Regardless of the person's knowledge, experience and attitude, if the worker cannot successfully deliver the work product, it is for naught.

5 Things Every Mobile Landing Page Needs

You realize that advertising on the growing mobile media such as mobile websites running AdSense and ad-supported native apps is very rewarding. You have written very effective ad copy. What's next?

You need an effective landing page for your mobile advertising campaigns to get the best conversions. Here are 5 things to do on your mobile landing pages:

You must have a mobile browser-compatible landing page. Don't send the clicks to a regular big screen site, otherwise you will almost certainly lose their attention. Nothing is more frustrating to click on an ad on a mobile phone and land on a classic super-zoomed-out site where you can't read anything without zooming and scrolling Smb promotion system.
It must continue the experience and build on the promised. If your ad talked about a free download, the landing page should put the free download right up there. Don't make them jump through hangers just to get it. A quick sign-up form is fine, but don't distract them with other offers here.
You should include trust-building elements such as famous brand logos with which you are connected, brief testimonials from previous users, and number of registered users. Keep the pages small and fast loading because it takes time to load things into the mobile browser, even when on 3G.
Mobile users are very comfortable with calling compared to filling out forms with the obscure keyboard. If you have the resources to receive incoming calls, create a prominent touch-to-call or click-to-call button. It may be easier to convert this lead into a skilled call manager sale than with email follow-ups.
Keep your forms as small as possible. There is a high sign-up rate for large forms accessed from a mobile. Do you really need the name? Can you manage this ebook sale without asking for street name and zip code? Can you collect some data in the second phase during the follow-up.

Development of mobile landing pages that deliver large conversions

A landing page is created that can somehow contribute to the user experience for all visitors to this page. This contribution can be in the form of promoting any product or service on the Internet that ultimately draws users toward a goal - for a business, the goal may be to get users to buy a product or service immediately or convince them to sign up for a mailing list.

The ideal way to direct a user further into the conversion funnel is by offering a straightforward and clear description of what is offered to them and also defining how they can make their purchase through the landing page.

Web site creation agencies are increasingly favoring mobile users, as display devices are no longer restricted to laptops and Smb promotion system.

Each context needs to be evaluated while developing pages for converting smartphone and tablet users.

In the following sections, you'll find out how to create a great mobile landing page-

Choosing the right tools

Building and hosting a mobile landing page requires the use of the right tools and significant coding expertise. For businesses that already have a hosting service in place, WordPress stands as a useful option for pages that can easily integrate with forms plugins and various other elements.

Focus on the content

Website development companies say that the amount of content to be displayed on a web page must be decided based on the products or services marketed through the site and the target audience. A / B testing can be done for pages with different amounts of content to check what works best for conversions.

Considering conversions

Within the limited space available on a mobile device, a business needs to effectively communicate its USP (s) for visitors to convert while maintaining brand integrity and creating web copies to represent the products / services.

Skip obstacles for good UX

It is not uncommon to find a page that is too centered around marketing goals, while providing insignificant importance to the user experience. Website development agencies dedicated to creating landing pages must ensure that the user experience does not suffer any costs. To do the same, landing pages must be crawled across devices with all users in mind to resolve issues.

Last test of the page

The last test involves examining mobile loading speed, which can be improved by HTML5 pre-fetching or by adding resource signals that instruct browsers to download resources before users perform their next step.

Small Business Guide to Maximizing Dollars Through Digital Advertising

Whether you are selling software, shoes or a business, it is important to market your products to your target market. And although TVC and billboards are still very common, advertising is shifting significantly towards digital.

According to experts, small business owners should drive the trend if they want to survive much longer. However, given their limited budget, SME owners should be wary of choosing which digital medium to use to maximize their ad budget. Here are some of the digital channels that we recommend to small businesses.

Social Media

Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn are some of the most popular platforms on social media. Creating a business page account on these is quick and easy. It's also easy to send and interact with your audience. However, it does take time to grow your audience, but once you get it right, it will be very rewarding. You can also use their paid advertising services to acquire fans in less time. In Facebook, for example, you can choose between Sponsored stories, Page posts, like ads, promotional posts and Facebook offers to get engagement and likes on your Facebook page.

Email

Email is among the first tools marketers use to market their products and services. But so far, it is still among the marketers' most significant tools online. Why? Because email basically works. According to the 2013 Email Marketing Benchmark Report, 60% of marketers say email marketing produces ROI for them. In addition, it has a longer lifespan compared to Facebook posts where almost 74% of messages you send are ignored by users.

So if you are one of those business owners who think email is dying, think again. Email is still alive and it is important to build your email list for your business.

Text Blast

Did you know that the open rate for text messages is higher than 90 percent? In fact, it is a huge number that makes text blast a very effective and cost-effective digital campaign tool. There are mobile service companies that you can hire to help you execute a text explosion campaign. You can choose your target market and the type of campaign you want that you think would be most appealing to your target Smb promotion system.

Website

Almost every business has a website today. That in itself is reason enough to create a website for your business, but that's not all. We all know that appearing at the top of the search engine results page can do your business well as users click through the pages they can find on the first page. Therefore, you should not stop building your site. Also, make sure your site is at the top of the search engine, especially on Google, where most of the search activity happens.

Advertising online can help your business thrive even if you have a shot at shooting. Just mix all the online tools that you think would be useful for your business and get creative with using them.

Online Business Systems - Find the Best for You

Many people do not realize that they do not need to create the next Google or Facebook to make money with an online business. Huge online businesses like Amazon, Twitter, ClickBank and the rest make billions of dollars each year - but that doesn't mean there's no money left over for the rest of us. There are thousands of online business systems that can help average Joes establish profitable online businesses and start making money.

Many of those who hit the realm online started with a crazy idea and just ran with it. There was a man who made a million dollars by creating a web page consisting of exactly one million pixels and selling them for a dollar each. And people have actually bought it in !! It just shows how easy it is to make money as long as you have something you can offer the public, whether it is an actual service or product or just the news of owning a single pixel on a web page!

However, you do not have to completely reinvent the wheel and come up with a naughty idea of making money online. There are many proven online business systems that you can take advantage of if you want to start earning extra income or if you just want to become your own boss and not have to depend on your monthly paycheck, which may not be enough to cover your financial needs.

Here are some of the most popular online business systems you might want to consider -

- Creating and selling your own product or products on a website

Creating your own products is not that difficult if you have creative talent or even just good research and writing skills. You can make a physical product that people would order from your site, or you can even write an e-book that you can sell online. The important thing you need, apart from the opportunity to create a selling product, is the ability to market the business promotion page. You should research your online marketing, or if necessary have someone to do the marketing for you.

- Make money from blogging and Google AdSense

This is one of the easiest online business systems. With this system, you only need to be able to write moderately well and create and maintain a blog with valuable information or content. You can create your blog with a free blog hosting service or pay to have a more customizable platform for your blog. Once you've done this, you can sign up for Google AdSense. They place relevant ads on your site and you get paid every time someone visits your blog and clicks on the ads.

- Rental of advertising space on your blog

This is almost like Google AdSense online business system, except that you rent banner and advertising space directly to businesses. They can pay you for every click their ads get, or just pay a fixed price for the amount of time they want their ads to appear on your blog.

- Affiliate marketing

This is just like the other two ad-based online business systems, except in this case, you are promoting your own links! Affiliate marketing is the place where you advertise and advertise other people's products or services, and you receive a commission when someone purchases these products or services through your unique affiliate link. This is a great way to leverage the ad space if you have a successful blog because most affiliate programs have the potential to make more profit than you could by selling this ad space to Google or other companies.

- Create a subscription-based member that is just a forum on topics that people are
interested in

To pull this off, you need to be an expert in a particular field and be willing to spend as much as 14 hours a day moderating and managing your forum. But if you start a forum on a topic that people are interested in but which has very little valuable information available online, you could potentially make a lot of money on the fee that people would be willing to pay to be members and take advantage of the information provided by the forum.

Simple Six Figures Review - Online Business System Product

Have you heard of the online business system product called Simple Six Figures and want to find out more about how to earn a regular income from it? This is the same exact method used by its owner, Paul Evans, to generate a six-digit income online after continuously implementing the same marketing system in many niche markets.

1. How do you make money online?

There are many ways to earn an income online, the most popular being Google AdSense ads or promoting other people's products as affiliate. Other newer methods include starting your own membership site and selling your own products. In this product, Paul shows you exactly how to earn your own six-digit income online by duplicating his business promotion page.

2. How do you find the hot niches to be sold using a single six-figure system?

If you want to start earning an income, first find out what the market wants to buy. To do this, do your proper research on sites like Amazon.com. To start your online business with the lowest cost, you must first start selling digital products such as ebooks or memberships.

Screenshot
Sites like Amazon.com can show you where the profitable niches and products to sell are and you want to sell or promote products and services in this market. You can use the number of reviews written as a gauge to tell how many people would be interested in the products and what the hot topics are.

3. Find the right kind of digital products to promote for an online income

Another great place to look for popular digital products is the ClickBank marketplace. Gravity Score is a good indicator that tells you how well each product sells. However, too much gravity can also mean that the product has become too competitive to market.

2 most popular online business revenue generating systems

It is disappointing that 95% - 98% of people who venture out to try to generate an income using their first online business system will fail. Because of all the great promises of success overnight, instant riches, lots of overhyped internet money, many people don't realize that all Internet marketing systems or strategies in the world are totally useless unless they get a basic understanding of what their chosen online business model is and how it is able to generate income on the Internet before they begin. No matter how proven and productive an online business system may be, it will fail if the user does not take the time to understand how it will work with their particular business.

3 of the most basic yet popular online business systems are:

1) Affiliate marketing

One of the most basic and most widely used of internet marketing systems is affiliate marketing. Because of the ease of getting started, it is by far the first choice of use for people new to internet marketing. It is very easy for anyone to register for one of the many affiliate programs available on the Internet today for free.

The various products or services that an affiliate can market are endless. As soon as someone buys or signs up for a product or service that the affiliate advertises that commissions start coming in. There is also the benefit of no risk to an affiliate marketer, as all aspects of the product or service they choose to market, such as product creation, customer service, product retention and transaction information, are handled by the product creator or affiliate program. As for the fact that affiliate marketer can even start earning an income online without his own website.

Screenshot

There is usually no cost to join an affiliate program, but some will ask for a fee to use their program. Because it is so easy to start in this online business, thousands of people grab this opportunity every day. These programs are one of the main reasons why the Internet today is so full of ads, banners and promotional material.

It's good to know that out of the thousands who try affiliate marketing, little 5% ever make any money whatsoever and less 1% are able to generate significant income These "super affiliates" completely understand the ins and outs in this business system and tend to do it differently to command the big money and success.

2) Creating ebooks and other information products

Creating ebooks and information products is definitely a productive online business method. Because of the endless number of topics of interest, you will never run out of ideas for new products. There are literally millions of different niche and micro niche markets all with their own topics of interest, and there are new ones to be found every day. The nice thing about this system is that you do not have to write or create the product yourself, you can easily outsource the work to a business promotion page.

When you create your own information products, you will have to pay more than a beginning affiliate marketer. Money needs to be spent on getting your business started. You also need to be prepared for a larger learning curve. The silver lining is that if you do this online business method correctly, you can generate a much better income.

Once the product is created, this online business system requires very low cost to maintain. This online marketing can reproduce as much of its product as it needs little to no cost. Once they have sold a small number of their information product at a reasonable price, the starting price for the company is paid. Then there are all these eager individuals who want to be your affiliates to help you market your product or service.

Online Business Systems - Do They Work?

Online Business Systems - Do They Work and How Efficient Are They?

As workplaces in the home become more and more in demand every day, many different types of online business systems have been enhanced to help the rising demand. I am an online entrepreneur and have encountered many challenges in operating some online business systems.

Starting an online venture can be simple, but standing out among others is quite challenging. I have tried many different online systems. Let me tell you my story.

Online business systems years ago were not very effective compared to what we have now. I am an e-book seller online and I needed writers and promoters to help me sell my books. I went through the net and found different ways to place my need for employees. Back then, there were few online stores available, so I had to find more ways to sell my books.

It was hard, I tell you. Looking back, I couldn't imagine how I did it, but I did it with effort and patience. Generations today are fortunate to have highly efficient and effective online online systems where they can do business very easily and faster than ever before.

Furthermore, I remember that I had a hard time looking for employees due to a lack of applicants. Many job seekers were scared of scams. Back then, online job scams were very frequent. Hundreds of online job seekers were discouraged because of the scams they experienced. Right now, several online business systems have found ways to screen online jobs and applicants more securely. This is the case to give applicants credibility and security.

Jenny, a good friend of mine, said she has been trying to apply for a job. She was very happy because she was hired. Unfortunately, after a month when she was already getting her first paycheck, the employer suddenly turned up - no response, idle Skype and the site also became inactive. Jenny became so frustrated that she even advised me to go online and look for work. But I would still pursue my dream. I never stopped despite all the hard times I had to go business promotion page.

After 2007, slow online business systems became faster and more efficient. I was surprised that there were more and more online retailers; More and more websites are opening and online jobs are growing. I found out in a report that online experts and enthusiasts have found ways to improve the systems due to multiple innovations in technology and software.

You see people, usually unemployment increases every year, but with the help of homework, it becomes less. The economy also improved for most countries. The business cycle affected so many economies, but with the advancement of online business systems, life has improved.

Right now I'm sitting in my home office thinking - Life is so good. This time for me, online business opportunities have become so practical, my life has also become so much easier. I could just smile and look back and thank God for not giving up on those hard times. I feel very blessed today. I have more than three businesses online. I earn more than I need by just sitting and clicking.

I encourage today's generation to try to work online. Experience the comfort of having to earn thousands of dollars while at home; comfort with the fact that these systems have become more competent and secure than ever before.

Advice for starting your own online business system

A good portion of the people who create a solid stream of income online from home are associated with online business systems. The Internet is packed with so many online business systems that can be connected and new ones are introduced each month. One of the problems that opportunity seekers often go through is when the online business system starts to be filled up by more members who have more marketing experience than you. When that happens, you have to compete a little with the other members who are advertising the same business system as you.

Of course, there are so many ways to promote a system, but it gives you much more breathing room if there are few people involved in promoting the system. However, the most profitable route is to start your own online business system because you always get something out of all your members' efforts. To start your own business system, consider the following tips.

Spend time with your brand Awareness early

Like setting up any business venture, you need to spend time and effort in the conceptualization process. This means thinking of a good name to represent your online business system as well as creating a matching logo to create awareness. This logo serves as a foundation in the creation of your business website, which will consist of a domain name and a web digital business pages. This can lead to other matching online products, such as ebooks, CDs, DVDs and other media. The more time you spend perfecting your brand, the easier it will be for you and others to market your online business system.

Choose a less commonly associated program or combination of programs

If you do not have your own product to market, you will have to rely on affiliates as your source of income.

There are many affiliates run by a large number of affiliates that are actively promoting the system to make it more popular. Connecting your online system with these regular programs may not ensure the success you need alone, so integrate affiliate programs with your other ideas.

Make the opportunity irresistible

People are usually skeptical of new programs that surface, and so a good way to minimize skepticism is to reduce risk as much as possible. Try to include a freebie or give a free trial to allow people to cancel without losing anything. If the upfront fee is expensive, add a few simple offers that can make the option a free one.

Once you have completed these basic tips, you can polish your site and do a simulation by trying out your new online business system yourself and see if it is smooth for new people to sign up. From there, go out and market your new business through the usual channels and get your top team members so they can advertise you.

If you are motivated and willing to dedicate time to building your online business, success is highly achievable using online technology as your method of building a business.

20 steps for effective on-page optimization

Recently, I learned that Google will bring something unique to the EMD and Google Panda hit site to get them back in the rankings, obviously not on top so soon. There will be some twist that comes with it and I am all prepared as I know that if anything comes, then it will surely affect the current site rankings as well.

Most people will notice that change after fall in their rankings, see the competitor they have beaten after Google Panda and EMD updates come close to them. However, I am ready for a lot of strategies on the site, which I will also share here in the hope that it may also be of benefit to some of you. These strategies focus around your website, content, HTML, Google Analytics and webmaster and RSS feed.

Let's discuss each of them in detail:

1. Site Analysis

The very first step in on-page optimization is site analysis and is also considered as the backbone for effective website optimization process. It is very important to make sure that the site you are optimizing is free of errors. This is for both search engines and users. There are various steps in site analysis that need to be addressed, below shows diagram 5 main tasks in site analysis:

Site Layout: It defines the site architecture; the way the owner has decided to present his product or services to visitors. It is always advised that your products and services are offered in such a way that it is easy to find and review for any visitor to your site. There must be proper classification of products and services that you offer analysis of shape, size, category, etc.

Image result for https://ibiz.page/

HTML Source Code: This section defines the HTML code of a web page such as javascript, CSS, other codes required to present the data. You need to make it clean and free of errors. Always validate your HTML from W3 tagging service, they even tell you the slightest error in your HTML source code. The less the error, the less time the crawlers take to move around in your tags, and more time they will have to read the actual content of your digital business pages.

Navigation - Top and Footer: Here you should observe the most crucial area of a web page - Header and Footer, also known as Top Navigation and Footer links. You only have to present the links that may be helpful to visitors in their search for information and can help them find what they came up with on your web page.

Website Load Time: The time it takes a web page to open completely in any browser. Developer should take care of this problem as they are the experts in reducing the amount of code found on any web page. It is recommended to put long codes in CSS and try to make the web page size as low as possible. Load time also depends on various other factors such as - flash file, images, PDF, server, amount of content.

Link Test (broken link, anchor text): Choose Xenu broken link checker or the one you trust to check for a broken link on your site. Broken links are not crawler favorites, and generally they tend to downgrade the rankings of this site with multiple broken links and display them as 404 errors. You need to be doubly sure of every link you add internally if it works or not.

Digital marketing strategy

With new search engine guidelines and rules, 2013 represents a great opportunity for businesses to dramatically boost their online presence. Since July 2013, the old SEO rules do not apply in the same way. Now is your best time to commit to a digital marketing plan that works for your business. As Google allows Hummingbird to spread its wings, companies that use good marketing tactics will reap the benefits in time. Below is a list of key factors for all businesses to integrate into their online list of things to do. You also need to keep a list of pages, emails and passwords used for everything you do. Believe me, once you get to a certain level, you will be happy to have the list. You also need to keep track of the results for each aspect of marketing. Something simple to be able to check for improvements on a monthly basis and check your return on invested time.

1. On-site optimization and keyword research

Make sure your site is well designed. A nice mix of headlines, text and images is required to adhere to SEO thinking. Aim for approximately 300 words in the copy of the text, making sure that headings are marked as H1 and that all images are named correctly. This will all help the search engines link your site to what people are searching for. With access to the code on your site, you need to create a site map, create accounts for both Google and Bing webmaster tools, and submit your site to both directories with a sitemap.

Then focus on how your site appears in search engines. Use a digital SWOT analysis of your business and focus on relevant keyword generation, meta tag creation, title tag creation and home page reinvention to maximize your visibility for your potential customers.

This first step instantly improves your results. You will see a large return on investment within a few short months.

2. Offsite optimization, links and backlinks

Offsite works are an equally important part of a strong digital marketing campaign. The focus of offsite optimization is to have the internet point and look at you. The purpose is to link your site to existing high-ranking placements. Google Ranking 5 or higher and High Alexa traffic ranks are what to look for. Avoid sites that have more ads on pages than content.

Social Media Basics: Include in your plan to create company profile pages on the top 5 most visited social pages: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. Each business page must have links to your site and links from your site to those pages in turn. Each page should be set with content about your business, text and images, contact information and business hours. You should also invest time in relevant pages / links / circles, etc. to get you started with followers and followers.

Extra social media accessories: In addition to the top 5 sites, you can also choose extra social media sites to be a part of, which really sets you apart from the competition. Best of the rest: includes Tumblr, Stumbleupon, Foursquare, Squidoo and Instagram.

Depending on the level of social media involvement, you may need professional help when you keep them on top of them all. Ideally, each social media avenue needs 45 minutes to 1 hour a week, to update with new content, and to network beyond the platforms, gain new followers, likes and links.

Backlink Strategy: It's important these days to focus on quality rather than quantity when it comes to backlinks. Depending on your digital business cards, different links work for some and not for others. An important start is getting listed local directories and also focusing on your competing links. Search for 'free online directories' in Google and a list of directory submission folders should appear for you. Spend some time filling in and submitting. Remember, some take longer than others to be processed, so keep a list of what is accepted and what is still being processed. Some directories offer paid features. These may be great features, but be sure to do some homework and use the best value option for an appropriate return on investment. I have come across cases where a library in particular provides free business links on web pages and offers minimal paid services to promote your social media, and a complete package of a website with SEO features on their sites for less money for a year than costs to rent a domain and a hosting package combined. It also helps you by association using their existing ranking to your benefit of your keywords. You can go even further and also look for like-minded companies, suppliers, agents, users, etc. that your company processes daily and start a dialogue

Why You Should Get Digital Business Cards

We live in the Internet age, where most of our personal and business activities depend on computers and electronic devices. This digital life is what leads to the creation of the electronic calling card. The business card started as a novelty in becoming a necessary tool for business networking.

What is a digital business card?

These modern contact cards can now be sent and received electronically via wireless using tools, email, internet, SMS or Bluetooth instead of using paper as a medium.

What are the types of digital business cards?

There are four main types of business cards; Phone contact cards, email-based business cards, social networking sites such as business cards and tools and applications such as Pokens or iPhone used to exchange business card data.

The phone calling card and the email-based digital contact card are quite interchangeable as you can now send an email over the phone and you can also email using your phone. The main difference is that phone-based digital dialing cards work from your phone and make use of SMS or Bluetooth features, while email-based digital dialing cards work from your email account.

Examples of telephone-based digital contact cards are Contexts, TxtID, and DUB. Contexts allow you to send and receive calling cards via SMS, while TxtID is a service that works by the other party texting your username to a six-digit number and where they will receive your contact information via SMS. To use DUB contact cards, you first have to create an account on their website, and then you can have it sent to other users via email or SMS, simply by sending an SMS to the DUB site. These services start with free program options, but usually offer paid services that give you access to more functionality or send and receive more digital calling cards.

For email-based business cards, companies like Drop Card and Weavemet offer such services. Both companies offer services such as Contxts and TxtID where you create a profile on their website, send the email address to a dropcard number and your contact will receive your contact card in their email.

The third type uses your social network profiles such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Google profiles as contact cards. There is also a service that brings together all of your social networking profiles like MyNameIsE, which is a place that brings together all of your social profiles into a virtual calling card that can be accessed via mobile web.

The last category of digital business card is devices like iPhone apps or Pokens that you use with other people with the same devices where the device deals with contact information. Some of these apps specialize in entering contact data. Examples of these iPhone apps are vCard and BeamME.

What is the advantage of a digital business card?

Digital business cards offer many benefits, here are some of them:

It's easier to set up. Since digital business cards don't really require any aesthetic styling, you don't have to worry about designing one. The person you are giving it to will not lose it as digital calling cards cannot be lost or left behind because your contact always has it in their email account, phone or other web based contact sharing account.

It is environmentally friendly. Digital contact cards do not require paper, so you help the environment when using electronic business cards.

It is effective. When a paper card is issued, most people scan it or enter the data on their phones or computers, but if your calling card is already digitally provided, the recipient does not have to go through the hassle of coding it anymore.

As mentioned earlier, digital calling cards are often requested, especially since most people use Internet phones and iPhones, where providing digital contact cards is more convenient for these tech-savvy people. It is really useful to get a digital calling card to keep in touch, whether for personal or business purposes.
